Prince of Wales Hotel - Proserpine

Fantastic service! This family-owned restaurant is conveniently located across from sugar cane fields on the highway. The rooms are well soundproofed, so you won't be bothered by any traffic noise. Be sure to try the delicious pies near the petrol station - they are the best in the area.

We called from Mackay to let them know we were coming. The gentleman stayed up and waited for us despite our last-minute booking and late arrival. My son and I were tired, but the room had fantastic beds and great service. We had everything we needed and would recommend this place to everyone. The service and friendliness were impeccable. Thanks, guys, for a great night!

Big room big bathroom nice beds and big tv . Perfect place to stay couple days in middle to long travel from south to notrh QLD.

We "only" ate one pizza here and it was not tasty. More reminiscent of frozen foods, ready-made foods. Unfortunately, we couldn't find anything nice in that place either, quite the opposite.

After flying in, we stopped here for lunch on the way to Airlie Beach. The service was good, and while the food is typical pub food, it's hot, and the servings are generous. Certainly happy to recommend.
