This restaurant was quite pleasant, featuring excellent service, although there were moments when it was a bit slow due to the relaxed island pace. The food was delicious. They have a separate fryer and can customize meals, which was fantastic for my dietary restrictions as I am celiac and avoid red meat and dairy. I ordered the grouper, and it certainly did not disappoint.
We had dinner here based on our hotel’s recommendation, and it was a wonderful experience! Both of our servers were incredibly accommodating, even bringing the chef out to chat with us. They surprised us with gluten-free bread, which was toasted and served with butter and olive oil. My daughter was thrilled and even asked for a second helping! She ordered the chicken strips from the kids’ menu, and instead of the usual fried tenders, they made her fresh grilled chicken tenders with French fries, which made her very happy! I chose the jerk shrimp with risotto from the appetizer menu as my main dish, and it was delicious—the perfect portion size, too. We also ordered a side of barbecue corn with jalapeño butter. It wasn't what I expected, but it was still tasty. I had imagined something more elaborate, but it was just corn on the cob—what a surprise! Unfortunately, they only had sorbet for dessert, but overall, we had a fantastic experience dining outside by the pool; it was beautiful!
Upscale, beautiful location in Wydmara resort. Wait staff was solicitous about ensuring allergies were noted and confirmed when brought us our food. We atethe bbq octopus appetizer, blacked grouper, coconut chicken and multiple sides (charred broccolini a favorite). Very healthy portions on everything. We were too full for dessert!
Many gf options so we were excited to try. Unfortunately I got really sick from the gf jerk shrimp and our gf dinners which we asked to not have fried garnishes came with battered onion ring and fried plantain on top. I skipped the main course as I didn’t want to risk it but still got sick: :
