Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWe sat at 9:15. we ordered our drinks and eat at 9:25. at 9:45 clock we had to ask for our drinks. ask about 10:15 for food and they said it would be ready in a few minutes. tables around us got their food and had been there 15 minutes. the manager was not a help. he avoids us and when I asked for our food, he said it would be right out, and 10 minutes later no eating. we had to get up and go out because our children were crying and hungry. thanks burger king!
Actually, the service was in order. eating was not very good. my speck was understated by a lot of imo. this is the first cracker barrel that I was also, which did not offer a military rabatt. I can't say I'd go back and pay the full price.
First time to a Cracker Barrel and have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Breakfast selection was good and decided to go with their cheesy hash brown with scrambled eggs, bacon, and scallions. Nothing on the menu is very innovative, but focuses more on variations of the classics. Was pretty busy when we stopped by so if your going for brunch would come earlier than later.
What happened to their service and food? It's seemed to have gone downhill fast. Pros: We were seated immediately. And my fried chicken was really good, with a nice crunch to it. My husband' corn was cooked well with all the butter, but how can you screw up corn? And that's where it ends. Cons: My husband's meatloaf was dry and even after putting a lot of ketchup in it, it was edible for him. He got another item, the steak hamburger which was better, but not cooked to a medium. More like medium rare. And there was a okra or green bean cooked in with his apples. How does that happen? Like he cut an apple slice in half and the green vegetable was cooked in. The manager just stood by near the kitchen watching his staff, and unfortunately that equalled to our server having an attitude. I was told she'll get me a refill, but 10 min later and I had to ask someone else. Well our server yelled across the restaurant that it was up on the fridge. Something to that extent. No apologies from our server with my husband's first food, the meatloaf. The Mac and Cheese had uncooked noodles and it seemed there wasn't any quality check on the food. Recommended? No. If based on tonight's dinner, absolutely not. Poor service and food quality has gone downhill. Manager doesn't seem to care about the restaurant's customers and only focused on his staff.
The employees were friendly and efficient. Tye food was tasty and filling. Southern comfort food is the main staple and they do it well. The attached store has throwback candy, toys, home decor items and clothing.
