Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónFriendly and efficient service, nice clean restaurant, and most importantly delicious food! Chips were crispy, prawns and mussels were fresh and tasty, and the saucy ribs and chicken were moist and fell off the bone. Couldn’t fault the place, 5 stars!
Seeing this place with a 4.3/5 star rating, I had to try it. The food and drinks are great, service was great as well. I'm from Auckland but if I ever come back to Queenstown, I'll definitely be dining here again. Thanks for the great food and drinks
Pork ribs are bigger then I thought they are very delicious. and we got the seat next to the window, love the view outside. staffs are very friendly as well.
Excellent service, the staff were so accommodating and lovely. Only con is how busy it is and we can only stay at the table for an hour and a half including cooking time. This may be an issue for those with a larger booking number. However the initial experience was great. Staff were very friendly and super helpful. I’ve wanted to try their ribs for the longest time, so we ordered the following two dishes:<br/ <br/ Full rack ribs: overall delicious, well done ribs. Although most of the meat was tender and covered in the perfect ratio of bbq sauce, some areas were a tad too burnt, some areas were fall off the bone, and occasionally there were still dry areas which were difficult to chew. Personally after all my rib adventures in Dunedin, I don’t think it’s super better than what I’ve tried so far. The sauce although was tasty, at the end made my tongue tingly from sodium overdose. Personally I still enjoy lone star ribs-just can’t beat em, and the Ratbags ribs in Dunedin are very similar (just slightly less sauce) but the meat is literally prepared the same (and for a way better price, especially on wednesdays) so if you’re ever after good ribs, sure, flame is super hyped but you can get similar quality elsewhere for a fraction of the price and just as good of an experience! If you’re still after that q town journey then by all means jump on the hype train, but it’s certainly not a huge bummer if you eat something else to satisfy your hunger. 4/5<br/ <br/ Sirloin 250g: oh so much smaller than I thought, but cooked well and thoroughly-we asked for medium. The steak was relatively tender and chewy, had the right amount of spring in its texture, juice, and marinade, however it didn’t blow me away. I was more into the fried onion pieces on top, so I guess that’s saying something. Good quality piece of meat though, but personally steak isn’t something I’d order anyway so I’m a tad biased in that sense. 4/5<br/ <br/ Chips were our preferred side of choice-they were unbelievably crunchy throughout our whole meal. I was pleasantly surprised and I do have to say they were fried very well, they never became soggy and maintained their crispness. A sauce to accompany it would have been welcomed though, and if salad was an option for a side, that would’ve been even better. <br/ <br/ Overall, a great dining experience, had a lovely time munching away at bone, but it’s definitely one of those I’ve been there done that experiences, and next time I would definitely try another grill place!
Brilliant place! If you are in queenstown and don’t go here you are missing out! Go the meat platter it’s a amazing
