The restaurant only had 3 wait staff for the entire place, and the manager was also cooking and cleaning tables. It felt like they had not been there in 10 years and it may be another 10 years before they improve. They should have just told us they couldn't accommodate us for dinner after we made a reservation. Waiting 20 minutes to even be greeted after being seated, and then waiting another 50 minutes for a cheeseburger and burnt onion rings, along with a salad and soup, was unacceptable. Overall, the food was terrible.
I have never seen a worse Friday's in my life! The staff is extremely unprofessional and ghetto acting. When I walked in, no one greeted me and they barely acknowledged my presence unless I made it known. There was no dress code enforced. Even the manager was unprofessional. Despite half of the tables being empty, they refused to let me sit down claiming the waitresses were busy. However, there were three people working at the door. I highly advise against going to the Friday's on Wake Forest Road in Raleigh. It was a total nightmare.
My birthday dinner at this restaurant was not a pleasant experience. Service was lacking as we waited more than 10 minutes to be greeted by our waiter. After asking for assistance from another waitress, we were told our waiter would be informed. Eventually, a different waitress took our drink orders only. Our appetizers were ordered but the entrees arrived within 35 minutes of each other. The restaurant had dirty tables and frustrated patrons in the waiting area. One waitress even cried at the hostess stand for 10 minutes, making our meal uncomfortable. Despite a nice server who seemed overwhelmed, the overall lack of effort and service was disappointing. This was not the first time we received subpar service at this establishment, and we will be dining elsewhere in the future. Management needs to closely monitor the restaurant to ensure a better dining experience for patrons.

Christmas dinner ever. only had 3 waiting staff for the whole place. mgr was cooking and cleaning tables were not there in 10 years sand, it can be another 10 years. All they had to do is tell us that they can't help us to dinner after we made a reservation. that would have been better than to wait for 20 minutes after we had taken a place to take an order and 50 minutes more for a cheeseburger and burned wobble rings. an salate and suppe. all terrible
