Bernie's - Rancho Mirage

It was a great experience. Next time we’re going to hit the bar area.

Most of our group of four enjoyed our dinners. My recommendation is to stick with the more traditional dishes on the menu. Service was very good.

The food was good but the portion size especially for the lobster bisque was not worth $12. The large bowl had probably less than 4 oz.

It was our first time dining here and everything was great! The service and food were wonderful. We will definitely go back.

I was not impressed . I ordered one glass of wine, because my fiance does not drink. About 15 minutes later or so a couple arrived and was sat next to us. Whithin their 10 minutes of them sitting, they were acknowledged by maybe a cook a dishwasher and another gentleman in a black suit, and we're giving two glasses of champagne. Now it's been about 20 minutes into my drink, I had to say something to one of the waiters and ask him about my glass of wine. When it was brought back, no apologies for the wait. Our food was ordered with our drinks. My fiance had the strawberry salad, I ordered the filet mignon with the lobster tail. The next surprised we got was when the couple that came in 15 minutes after we did were being served their food, before us.. (Wow) .. When my food did arrive my carrots and asparagus we're fresh. My mashed potatoes there were a little cold too. For the high price we paid, I was not impressed with the cold food service. I did not say anything but did mention it to the waitress the carrots and asparagus were a little cold which I know it was not her fault but we paid our bill and left. But definitely me and my finance said that same night we will not be coming back.. Our very first time there, and a special occasion day, Valentine's day, not so perfect.
