Jerry's Cakes Donuts - Rapid City

DELICIOUS donuts! We visited this place as a family while exploring the Black Hills, and we were thrilled with both the quality of the donuts and the exceptional service. Many donut shops today lack sufficient seating, so we really appreciated the spaciousness of this one. It allowed us to sit down together and savor our treats, and the hot mug of coffee was the perfect complement. Nowadays, it’s common to get drinks in paper or styrofoam cups, so it was a delightful surprise to receive a real mug of steaming, delicious coffee to enjoy alongside our donuts. It reminded my husband of the times he shared donuts with his Grandpa when he was younger, as they used to keep your coffee mug at the shop. We can't wait to visit again!

A charming little gem in the area, reminiscent of a small-town bakery. All their pastries are made fresh using traditional methods. They offer an amazing variety, and the service is exceptional. This is definitely a place you should visit on your way out of town on a Sunday morning.

**Layout/Atmosphere**: This quaint little donut shop has a small-town vibe, complete with tables for dining in. **Service**: The staff here is incredibly friendly. **Food/Drink**: - The Long John filled with strawberry jelly is quite good. - The honey-dipped donut is excellent. - The Boston Cream donut is also good. - The Bismarck donut is solid as well. (All of these are yeast-style donuts.)

The most amazing donuts and pastries I've ever eaten. I only wish that Jerry's had been open every day we were in Rapid City. If the wait line got too long more people would come out to help speed the sales. No wait was too long. The staff wereextremely friendly. My only suggestion, make stronger coffee. It was a bit on the weak side.

Don?t let the long line scare you, they move customers through quickly and the donuts are fantastic. Prices are very reasonable as well. Not to mention the people behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. Great find in Rapid City.
