While traveling on a road trip to the west, I was looking for healthy options and I am so glad I decided to try the chicken shawarma dish here. It was delicious and not overly seasoned like many fast food restaurants nowadays. It felt like I was enjoying a home-cooked meal. My partner also enjoyed the lamb gyro meat, which was also not too spicy. If you prefer meals that are not overly salty, fatty, or seasoned, this is the perfect place to eat!
We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to Badlands in Rapid City and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to stop by again on our way back. We tried the chicken kebabs (nicely seasoned), hummus and falafel platter, stuffed grape leaves, Turkish rice (amazing), baklava, and Turkish coffee. Everything was incredibly tasty and the staff was lovely. This was by far the best meal we had during our weeks vacation in Wyoming and South Dakota. If this restaurant were in our hometown in New Hampshire, we would eat there every week!
Living out in rural Nebraska, I don’t get Gyros very often. I took advantage while in town on business. Restaurant was clean, and the lady at counter was very helpful. I settled on a Gyro Supreme w/fries. My Gyro was delicious. There was a LOT of food on that plate! I did not go hungry. Next time I will skip the fries, and just stick with the gyro. It was easily the star of the show.
Bang for buck! $10 for a filling gyro plenty of lamb and veggies! Get extra ziti sauce. It’s so good!
As a Chicago native with many Greek friends and access to some of the best Greek restaurants in the USA, I have been enjoying Greek cuisine for 50 years. The gyro hub, however, surpassed my expectations and offered one of the best gyro meals I have ever had. The generous serving of flavorful lamb gyros (authentically made with lamb, although other meats are available) topped with onions, tomatoes, and a delicious homemade tzatziki sauce was a true delight. The charalat (similar to a Turkish dish) was also excellent, with layers of feta, olives, tomatoes, and a tasty dressing. Overall, if you are a fan of authentic gyros, this is the place to go. If I lived in Rapid City, I would definitely become a regular and explore the rest of the diverse Mediterranean menu. It was great to see the staff working diligently and the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant.
