Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónExcellent food with a variable amount of flavors unlike some buffet Asian food we had. Our teenagers loved the subtle taste unlike strong lamb curry. This place must be tried. The only complaint is the cool air of the restaurant. We found the staff friendly and relaxed to be with, and even interactive by trying our young people a lesson in the art of napkin presentation for them. Good food, good value.
Standard is still a very decent Curry house in Reading, after twenty two years I'm gone. When you say how busy they are, others probably think the same. Service was fast and accommodating, even if they were busy. What to eat, what can I say? Delicious and authentic. recommend the special Biryani and Tandoori Mixed Grill.
We held our wedding dinner there a few years ago. Great food, great service and great prices! We were treated to try some dishes free before booking.
A good Nepalese restaurant offering the usual Indian dishes plus a few others. I 've eaten here many times. The Sunday buffet is especially good value at lunchtime and early-mid afternoon and you can see the family eating the same food as you have. My last visit was on a Thursday and we thought the food was not up to their normally high standard. A previous visit was late on a Sunday (the buffet had finished) and our dishes were excellent.
Not what it once was. Maybe leaning about on it’s old reputation 10 years ago it was great. We arrived at 8 pm on New Year’s Eve. Not overly busy and they were expecting us. Just a couple of waiters who were very welcoming and polite but overloaded with orders to take and food to serve. We waited a long time for a drinks order and then food to be made. The biggest disappointment was the lack of Gurkha Beers in bottles I love this beer it’s delicious and they used to serve it. Sadly there are plenty of other places to have curry in Reading so I won’t be rushing back until things have improved.
