Excellent hidden biergarden and the food is reasonable and wonderful. Have been there twice now and both times were met with excellent service and smiles....

With my closest friends I met an excellent sirloin 600g dry steak at wilderers, who feels like a real American steak place. medium rarely ordered and it came exactly like that. the dishes were delicious. all rounded off by delightful augustinian white beer. Well, the team!

During a recent stay in regensburg I visited the restaurant with some colleagues. the suppe listed in the menu was out. my colleague asked for some brot for his suppe and got the feedback that no brot is available. but later came a little broth with the salate of another fellow. we ordered the munchner schnitzel with roasted kartoffeln and got carved ass art served with frits. we were hungry anyway, so we didn't complain. the waiter seemed a little confused. Finally, eating was only average, compared to other restaurants in regensburg. I wouldn't come back.

I would say this restaurant is definitiw underrated. sure, it is not on the most important tourist away, but it is a real place: service, eat and a very nice beer garden. if they want my suggestion, this is a much better place than the most famous others. Menu:...seasonal; bier (big): augustiner; eat (very good): bayern. there was no English menu, but the staff is very friendly and happy to help. I have spent some months in regensburg and I can say that this restaurant is well and regularly visited by locals. as usual, this is just my subjective opinion. review written after few visits based on their price menu list and service.

We went to the old part of the restaurant desperate to find somewhere for new years eve. the friendly owner fits us into the adjacent new restaurant, which was a bit cautious for. it turned out that it found a more than satisfactory...and special new year. the staff, while unfamiliar with their new restaurant, was friendly and quite efficient and eating was excellent.
