Wait 10 minutes my Wife asks the hostess where order might be. We are rudely told it’s Friday night. Ok then why tell us 20 minutes but mistakes happen. Nacho were really good, pub pretzels okay but the chicken tenders are the best fried chicken in the area. Absolutely amazing. We decide Sunday to order the tenders for the whole family. We were once again told 20 minutes. This time thinking I am out smarting them I get there in 30 minutes. I should have know there would be an issue as I pull in 4 of the staff are out smoking or on their phone. I wait for the hour mark to hit and ask for a manager explain to him this is twice in 3 days and the place was mostly empty. He blew me off and said ok. I looked at him and said you really need to do something. His answer okay. Good luck wish the workers were half as good as the food and the manager should have done something for the issues. You can go next door to Bacco and get both great food and service!
Never been here myself, but my in laws came here for lunch and gave me their left over salad. It had walnuts, goat cheese, pears, and oranges in it. It was the best salad I ever had.
The first time we went here for lunch we were very happy with the quality of the food. I had the chicken tenders appetizer and they were huge, lavishly battered, and cooked to perfection. I had hot buffalo sauce with them, the typical sort of creamy wing sauce that was very good. The service was excellent. The second time I ordered the same thing. The tenders were overcooked, extremely dark, almost burnt. The sauce was not what I had had before, like it was poured right out of the bottle. I told our server and she stated that they hadn't cleaned the oil. They do it on different days. I repeated they were overcooked, burnt and dry inside. She insisted it was the oil, meaning they can't serve fried dishes consistently depending on how dirty the oil is? She said she could take it back but it would be the same thing. I also asked about the sauce, which was definitely not what I had the week before. She stated they made it onsite and that's the way it was. Meaning, they don't have a consistent recipe? She finally took it back and when they came back they were ok. We were done by then, so I just took them home. What kind of way is this to run a restaurant, especially now? It was like 1 in the afternoon, and they were by no means busy. And what was the server thinking with her responses? We go to lunch every week and would have returned many times. And we tip very well. A friend of mine had fish and chips and the fish was burnt as well. Very disappointing and we will not return. If you go, ask if the oil is clean.
Such an awesome place! Went to a birthday celebration there recently and it was simply amazing. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious, the ambience was chill. It's a great place for old friends to get together and just have a good time. I would highly recommend Irish Horne.
Great experience. I’m quite surprised that the prices are as good as they are in this economy. Fish and chips were very good $15)I had the braised short ribs with mashed potatoes and glazed carrots good portion were excellent $18). My friends burger was very good. a lot good FF $9.50) Crab appetizer delicious and good size! $13.95) Mozzarella sticks huge! 5 for i think $10 possibly less. enough for 5 to share bc huge pieces. Service was good. And this was a busy Friday night. The waitress was very good and patient. Her name is Kathleen, friday 6 pm reservation. Definitely be back to try lunch
