This is one of my favorite restaurants in ilani. great eating and nice staff.

That was eating. the price not worth it, steaks came warm, much overpriced for the quality, the service was great people very friendly and always checked for them, but for $300 for a group of 4 I expect that the eating was perfect and do not come hot as it was cooked yesterday evening, reminded me of a night home with rest.

Made reservations for a $34.95 Thanksgiving buffet. When we got there they said there wasnt a buffet. Had to pay $50 for an ok meal. Other people had same problem, really bad.

We had decided not to cook for Thanksgiving this year and since we didn't have guests coming, lets go out, was the decision. Dining options in Portland were many but we wanted to support the local economy. The choices in Vancouver were limited and almost decided on Elements but Ilani kept popping up in the mix. We checked and the Thanksgiving Menu at Rose Thorn was the choice. A three course menu including options such as Butternut Squash Bisque, Hazelnut Apple Salad, Turkey Roulade and Crab and Brie Stuffed Steelhead made choices difficult. But the Turkey with prosciutto and goat cheese and the Salmon with crab and brie were the easy picks. Everything was beautifully prepared and presented. Several wines were enjoyed and it turned out to be a delightful dining experience. Rose and Thorn will be on our list for Ridgefield dining for a long time to come.
