Riviera Maya - RISING SUN

The restaurant has a lovely ambiance, and the service was excellent. However, I encountered two significant issues during my visit. Firstly, and not the restaurant's fault, there was a customer nearby with a strong body odor that made me feel quite nauseous even before our food arrived. Secondly, as many others have pointed out, the food was under-seasoned. I suspect that the restaurant receives a lot of praise for this approach, particularly from patrons who prefer milder flavors. We ordered the tres colores enchiladas and the shredded chicken burrito, both of which were beautifully presented!

The foods delicious! The servers are great! This is our new favorite place to come!

We ordered take out on a Friday night. Service was friendly and the order was ready promptly and was accurate. Each item that we ordered was delicious. Unlike every other Mexican restaurant I have tried, they do not include complementary chips and salsawith an order. My only regret is that their website menu takes a lot of clicking between pages as there are 17 separate pages toscan for a look at the complete menu.

I stumbled upon this charming restaurant while searching for a Christmas tree. After selecting the perfect tree, we decided to stop in for lunch. A big shout-out to Alexis, our fantastic waiter! The guacamole was chunky and packed with flavor. We enjoyed fajitas, shrimp quesadilla, and fish tacos. Alexis was very accommodating with all our requests, attentive, and it was truly a pleasure to have him as our server. The quirky decor was delightful as well!

I visited on a Friday evening when the restaurant was busy, but the service was outstanding and quick. Every dish and drink we ordered was top-notch—definitely five stars. We will definitely be returning soon!
