The Handlebar Café And Kitchen

The coffee here is amazing and normally the staff are very friendly, but today a friend and I were told we had 1h 15m max stay because we were using our laptops. However after less than 45 minutes, we were given a bill without asking for it, and then promptly asked to leave even though we hadn't even finished our drinks yet. This made us feel really unwelcome and uncomfortable. I understand that it is busy on a Saturday, but I don't think we would have been treated so rudely if we weren't young.

Spent the day in Oxford from london and was met with such friendly staff and great coffee! It even had a smile the lady was so lovely and gave me a delicious brownie for my bday! Will definitely be back

Terrible food! We went to this cafe with a great excitement after reading reviews however, met with a major disappointment. The place is very nice which made me and my husband excited about our brunch but as soon as we received our drinks- his juice and my coffee- our hopes started fading. When we received our food I got really riled up as I never had such pathetic (for this high price) food in UK, which is certainly not famous for good food. The full english breakfast was awful and i have never seen sugar syrup-dipped pancakes before (it pained to pay so much for that). Many may be surprised by this review, but if you have slightly active taste buds and know how a good pancake tastes or what is the taste of a good english bf plate, you would agree with me. If going to have decent food, this is not the place. Rest all is fine.
