Mellow Mushroom - Roanoke

It’s hard to find places around that i can actually eat things at with my non vegan (at least yet) family. i love their vegan pizzas and the vibe and decor is so fun. i haven’t had an experience there that was ever bad.

Although there is no meat-substitutes, there are many, many different veggies to add to your dairy-free pizza (remember to ask for no garlic butter and parmeson on the crust). I was in the mood for a plain-old dairy-free cheese pizza, so this place was perfect... and sooooo delicious!

Legit fun pizza place, with vegan cheese and a build your own pizza style. They happened to have a vegan feta as well to go on a Greek (ish) salad. Dough had a great crunchy outside and soft inside, I think it may have even been whole grain. The sauce could had a little more flavor but everything was great.

Fun place with good food. the vegan veggie pizza was incredible!
