Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónIn Rochefort, it would be unthinkable not to visit the Place Colbert, whether for a coffee or a lunch. Locals are very proud of the musical which seems to have acted as a catalyst for the popularity of this charming town. Having stopped for cofee and cool drinks a few times, (temp in the mid thirties) we stayed for lunch on Saturday where the square was filled with a variety of clubs of all desciptions giving demonstrations mainly to youngsters. So we had lunch entertained Roman style by fit people hurling themselves at one another while we had a leisurely chicken salad and a cool rose. Make like a local but as ever, don't come late.
Avoid! We had the menu du jour and although the caesar salad was good the main courses, especially the filet mignon, were terrible over cooked and dry. The service was friendly but slow.
Came here for both lunch and evening meal. Service was very good and helpful, and accommodated our table of 8. The food is of typical french fare and is of very good quality. Enjoy the people watching. Great spot for it
