Brackett - Rockport

The property features five distinct buildings, and we stayed in the main one, which houses the reception desk, breakfast area, stairs leading to the fitness center, and access to both the indoor pool and an outdoor seating area with a firepit. We found the continental breakfast to be more than sufficient for our needs. Unfortunately, the day before our departure, the pool had to be closed for unexpected maintenance, but this was not the hotel's fault. They kindly extended our check-out time so we could still enjoy the pool if we desired. The grounds are impeccably maintained, and our room was clean and comfortable. Additionally, there is a convenient park-and-ride tram service just across the street that takes you to the center of Rockport, running approximately every half hour.

Wonderful place! The rooms were spotlessly clean, and the location was fantastic, just a short distance from town. The prices were reasonable too! I would definitely return with my family in the future. We even extended our stay by an extra night because we were having such a great time.

The room is nice and spacious, but unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. There are significant issues with the hotel. The rooms located outside the main building, particularly in the 210 area, lack Wi-Fi connectivity. When we raised this concern, the staff mentioned there was nothing they could do about it. This is particularly frustrating for international travelers who depend on Wi-Fi for communication. You pay for the service, but it’s not provided, and the staff seems aware of the issue yet takes no action. Additionally, they do not offer towels at the pool, which adds to the inconvenience. The pool itself is cold and not very clean, and the restroom nearby is also in poor condition. To top it off, our room wasn’t ready by 4:30 PM despite check-in being at 3 PM. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel given the price you would have to pay to stay here.

It is a motel-style accommodation. The rooms were nice and clean. We were surprised that it was motel-like with room doors outside, which was tricky because it was raining the night we arrived. The pool was not attached to the rooms, so we had to walk outside in the rain to get to the pool house. The pool house is VERY warm. Although, there were no pool towels, so we had to use shower towels. The grab-and-go breakfast was decent. It is all prepackaged. I would rate this 3.5 stars if allowed.

It’s lovely property with a spacious room and bathroom. The breakfast is very basic but is served with a smile. We had a strange experience when we got back to the room late evening.. the room hadn’t been cleaned inspite of the sign put on the door. On complaining to the lady at the reception we were told we plan to remove the signs in all rooms as we are under staffed and can’t clean all rooms! That’s absurd given the high room rents being charged! We were able to convince them to move us to another room thankfully Other than this all else was nice
