Nizi Sushi - Rutherford

We had a wonderful experience tonight. The staff food were both excellent.

PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DO NOT COME HERE. I used to order takeout from here once a month, it was pretty good... Today, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, I called and asked if they were still doing pickup orders. The gentleman on the phone responded yes. I politely asked, Great! What are you guys doing to ensure that your customers are safe when you prepare your food? He answers, rudely, spitefully, I dunno. I don 't think anyone 's sick here but I 'm not sure. What do you want me to do? Wear a HAZMAT suit? All I did was kindly, nicely, ask a question. I hung up. Don 't come here, and please, DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. Many other sushi spots in town...these people clearly aren 't doing their part to ensure that the E. Rutherford community is safe from the germs...looks like they 're not even wearing gloves. Never, ever coming here again. You just lost a LOYAL customer. I 'm so disappointed and grossed out at the same time... :

Do not order Japanese food from Nizi Sushi in East Rutherford. They lied to me that my food was on it's way after over an hour of waiting and then by the 2nd hour they admitted they never put my order into their system. All the manager said to me was that he didn't know what happened. Just a terrible experience all around. Don't order from Nizi Sushi in East Rutherford.

We have been coming to Nizi for over 15 years. Love it. Even our little one year old loved their tuna teriyaki appetizer

Their new place is bigger, better and nicer than the old location. And, the food here is always awesome.
