The Barley Beach House - Rye

Eating, service and ambiente were great. the added live music and fireworks during eating was especially special.

Beautiful table on request in the reservation where we all could hear each other. excellent friendly, efficient service. Eating drinks were delicious and plentiful. beautiful place, beautiful view and will return definitiw. a great sound.

The menu was also liked by the huge brezel and aubergine meatball.

Not so good yesterday. Very disappointed as we had guests in from out of town. Lobster roll was bad. Lobster was Luke warm. Roll was soggy. So it probably sat on the counter waiting for pickup for a while. I get it. Seasonal service help is difficult these days but no, sorry, at those prices we deserved better.

We sat outside and really enjoyed the views. The food was excellent and the staff was very helpful/accommodating.
