Best breakfast in Southern California. A slight menu changedsince the last time I was around. Still really good.

We have been eating at The Broken Yolk since we have been coming to San Diego. We always enjoy the food and atmosphere. Wait staff is very friendly and attentive to all our needs. I had the Monte Cristo, it was delicious. The omelets are also very good and I am not a big egg person. Broken Yolk is a must when visiting Pacific Beach.

I hadn't been to the Broken Yolk in PB in many years and from what I remembered it was really good. Thankfully my visit today was no different. The food is just as good, but what really made me want to write this review was my server Nancy. She was one of the most attentive and friendly waitresses I have had in a long time and the way she would interact with her regulars gave me vibes of a small-town diner where everyone knows each other. You can tell she really loves her job and the people she serves. So.if you get Nancy you can count yourself very lucky.
