Jay & Jay - Saarbrücken

Went there on a Sunday for lunch with my wife, the terrace was awesome plus the waiter was amazingly nice. As we don't speak German we approached him in English which he was more than willing to compromise.My wife got an amazing Coconut Mojito and we ordered the 2 optional veggies, my was the regular and I found it the tastier, plus I had the passion fruit/chilli mayo (on the side) to go with my sweet potato fries which were cooked to perfection. Since the burgers don't come with sidings unless you order them she got a large Vital salad which had a bit too much ginger for me but she found it just right. All of this plus a soda and a half a litter of water came under 40€.Overall perfect lunch which made our day so much better.

Everything is excellent: food, service, price and the atmosphere. Fresh food for everyone (including vegan).

We were really looking for a new place to frequent with vegetarian options and from the look of the restaurant and menu we hoped this would be it. But unfortunately after receiving our food (which I at first was given the wrong meal actually) it was a big disappointment. The burgers were very cold and the fries were not good at all. My salad was little more than a teaspoon of quinoa, 3 pieces of walnut, and the rest raw red cabbage. And for over 8 euro! The whole table was unhappy with the meal especially for the price. The waitress mentioned that it was busy when we talked about the cold burgers but it was not busy at all, with the tables we could see with only one person at each if not empty. I also overheard her apologising to the person next to us about the food too. Then we waited forever for someone to come outside so we could ask to pay. A very disappointing experience over all and I would not recommend it.

We were looking for a decent place selling food at lunch time with vegetarian options. This is the place ! This place sells a decent amount of good quality burgers, the food is fresh, well cooked, well presented. You get a variety of options, including vegetarian options .... The setting inside the restaurant is great, prices are very good ... You will not regret it ! A place I'd definitely recommend ... Minutes away from the key shopping area. Our little boy also loved it !!!!! And check out the toilets (you'll understand once you get there) :-)

It's a wonderful place, with amazing food and great service. It is the best place to have a good hamburger in town. Very original and good quality products. I would recommend this place to anybody that visits the area, try it and enjoy it.
