Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónCrisp modern interior to restaurant friendly welcome and service. Both ordered 'Napoli' pizza what in Britain could be called Napolitana. Upon arrival, the pizza looked good, and the anchovies were the silver type, instead of the brown fillets. When cutting, the base was much too thick, similar to an extra thick slice of bread. The cheese was of a Gruyere type (not Mozzarella), which meant that it never connected to the base (in fact, you could have lifted the whole kick in one piece). They had to constantly replace the cheese on a bread basis. The taste of the gorgeous looking anchovy was completely lost by the overwhelming cheese. Small olive rings were disappointing tasteless. A smile of the tomato passages would have greatly improved things. At the end of our meal we tried some marked horn that was marked huile de chili, and that ruined the last little part of the pizza as we treated it as an olive oil and it was very hot. This restaurant needs a wood stove, and for the owners go to make a pizza course for a few days in Naples. You spent a lot of money and effort on the restaurant. Even the toilet is the state of the art with hand-sensitive taps and a Dyson hand dryer it only needs to fall into place!
Nice restaurant, with friendly service, perfect place for lunch. Most restaurants were closed at noon and that was a good find of travel advisors. Worth a visit.
In France you learn to wait... The French are patient when it comes to the stomach and I look forward to waiting for a good dinner - this is exactly what I got in this modern addition to the restaurant scene...in Saint Junier in the Haute Vienne. Especially pizza as the name implies, there are Breton Galettes on offer and reading about them on the menu makes me always stand out powerless! I waited half an hour for my Friday night in April. When we arrived there were many empty tables, but within fifteen minutes the restaurant had filled and also made a roaring trade with Takeaway Pizza. The young man who showed us our table and brought the aperitif was charming and enthusiastic to speak English, but when the restaurant became busty, he was in the kitchen that helped the cook. Usually a basket of beautiful bread is brought to potential fainting for the anticipation of what is to come, but we have no... just us... each other was munching and waiting...munching and waiting. A small handle, like the gallets were enormously fresh and oozing filling, sharing a salad as a side order and a dessert, a bottle of low alcohol apple wine at high price and an invoice only shy of 39 euros. I enjoyed it and would go back, but the next time they forget the bread I will naturally ask in French!
