Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónMe and my other half had dinner at Le Toukan last night. Although the view was pretty the food was bad. We both had scallops to start - and all of them on both plates were over cooked to the point of rubber!! The rest of the meal was passable - but there really is no coming back from that in my book. The price tag was also large (200 euros) - for which I really do expect the chef to be able to cook the produce correctly, if not well!
We went there with 7 persons , three days after eachother , even sometimes during lunch and diner.Took both menu's and a la carte and really all dishes were wonderfull , no minor remark , really unbelievable. Also Nice view , sea, little harbour , no irritating nose at all.Staff was top , even after the first time , they still knew our apertifs :-) , were very kind to our child of 8 months and our dog.You really feel at home, I normally never give 5 point , but this place deserves it 100%.We will come back a lot and our friends Also.Pictures says it allSuch a place makes our holiday even greater than it already was. Thanks for that !!!We have Some great evenings and good vibes with our friends at the table of "le toukan"
Port de Boulouris is a small local harbour. Le Toukan sits on top overlooking it and the view towards saint Raphael. We were lucky enough to get a table on the terrace overlooking the harbour. The fish available is brought to the table and we chose a durade for two which was perfectly prepared. This is an owner run no frills establishment but serves good food at a fair price.
Saturday lunch for the 23 euro set two course lunch, half a dozen oysters each to start, Turbot and Venison Casserole for mains, all accompanied with a bottle of Rosé. Most enjoyable, and well worth another visit.
We had been treated in a very uncomfortable way.. sad because location is nice but they are very pretentious with no reason for..
