Cafe Rio - Salt Lake City

A Cafe Rio Mexican Grill location just opened across the street from my office so I decided to give it a try and I think I have found my new favorite lunch spot! With a variety of Mexican lunch menu items and daily special it's hard to choose just one meal! I finally decided on the award winning pork barbacoa burrito and it was absolutely delicious! You get a frequent diner card too so when you purchase 10 meals you get the 11th meal free! If you haven't yet tried Cafe Rio Mexican Grill, I recommend that you do!

I love the sweet pork burrito, and it was excellent at this visit. eating is generous portions, and great reheated. the pick-up line for phone calls went a little slow, but the service was friendly. in any case will be restored.

Eating is really great, but don't call her in her order! the last commands we have put are wrong when we come there to pick it up and at the end wait longer than the inflow line to get our food! foods would be higher rated, but service brings it down.

I love cafe rio. and eating from this location is consistently good (I am less than a mile of this business, so I have been 30 times last year). However, the low-star rating must do with service, speed and online order. this place was the worst of them all (also problems with bountiful) 1) every time I go, there is always at least one person on the main line that should not be there. they are either extremely slow or uncoordinated to arrange several orders. the line is constant long and slow. 2) I had a few encounters with impatient men. a simple question made them act as if I had told them they were moving a mountain. 3) finally I had...read more

Cafe rio was always one of my favorites. the service is excellent, the eating is fantastic, and the prices are great, but it is in the usually quite crowded. otherwise I would give it definitiw 5 stars.
