Sicilia Mia Cottonwood - Salt Lake City

I am giving this restaurant 5 stars because of the incredible food. It was absolutely amazing! We chose to have our wedding dinner here because Twigs was unable to accommodate our party without a reservation. I am not typically a fan of Italian cuisine, but after dining here, I am now a convert. It has become my wife's favorite type of food, and I think it might be mine too now. Thank you for giving me a newfound appreciation for Italian cuisine.

I don't see why this restaurant is so well-liked. I ordered spaghetti and the meat sauce was unevenly heated, with some parts cold and others warm, almost as if it had been microwaved. When I mentioned to the waiter that my food was cold, he appeared offended and angry. They reheated it for us and did not charge us, but overall, it was a disappointing experience. I will not be returning!

Ok so I will start with I am Italian and I am from NY. So the good stuff, service was great, cute little setting with lots of windows. So now the not so great things, the food was just ok. Gnoccis the sauce was salty and they were not homemade. The carbonara was made tableside but I didn't like it at all. No depth of flavor. The salad was standard flare and there wasnt an Italian person in the place. I am used to authentic Italian food and cooking and this is not it. Also pricy. Sorry just being honest.

Even through the voluntary quarantine you can still get delicious Sicilia Mia take away. It's a beautiful day to eat outside. Thanks crew for the delicious lunch!
