Red Iguana - Salt Lake City

Oh, man! That was so good. we sat in this unique cubby that made it cozy for a quiet dinner for two. the server brought out all different types of mol to let us try them. we also tried the chile con queso. we had the molecular coloradito and iguana plate for dinner, and both were excellent. to dessert we had tres leches. our server, alyssa, was also the best. I have absolutely no negative about red iguana.

Went in for dinner a brief 20 minute wait to get in at 5:00pm Started with a margi and guacamole yum! I had the Mole Negro which was incredible, my partner had the Mole Coloradito which was also very good. Wished I lived closer to Salt Lake City, I would be a weekly regular at the Red Iguana

We went to dinner as a family. we made reservations and the table was ready at our arrival. we started with guacamole and it was great and the part was huge! I had the red iguana combo plated, it was great, (huge) another at the table had the fish tacos with mahi mahi. it was good, but my tablemate said she probably wouldn't order it again. the other order was maul negra. it was great! the service is top regal and eating was great.

Great Mexican food. service was excellent. atmosphere very relaxed and casual. fischtacos were very fresh. the aromen on everything was just fabulous. the maul was as good as in oaxaca. very popular place and well worth waiting. I reserved for resy and had no waiting time. our waiter rodrigo was very friendly, helpful and only a great guy. when they visit slc they strongly recommend when they have a request for good Mexican food.

I talked to a colleague here. wait was shorter than she was estimated. in the inner was so busy, but I suffered it. the decor and the atmosphere were immaculate. server are attentive and friendly. that food came out quickly. supplement chips and salsa! I have the enchiladas poblanas and they were incredible! I made myself feel happy and full, but not where I eat coma after. will definitely be back! (especially they try the famous maul.
