I think we were the last customers and didn't feel rushed at all. Had mole and suiza enchiladas, pretty good. We haven't been around for decades and will definitely go back. In this part of Marin difficult to find comparatively very good food, moderately inexpensive.
I drank shrimp today, so we came for lunch, for the first visit. The tacos were excellent and I appreciated that their side beans were black beans instead of the baked pinto beans usually met. They served some (a little mediocre) chips with two tasty salsas, a spicy red salsa that was delicious, and a second with black beans and tomatoes that was tasty, but the cing of the former was missing. They served our dog a large bowl of water (except when eating, thank you). All in all, it was a very pleasant lunch. We will return.
We've been here for over a decade. I loved eating. It was original, with great vegetarian options. But the last few times I was really disappointed. I think the kitchen went downhill. The food is soggy, undercooked and tasteless. I give him 3 stars as the service is excellent and the ambience is relaxed and fun.
Since I?ve been coming here since I was 11 months old (now 24) I guess it?s time to write a review. This has always been my favorite restaurant in Marin. After all these years Jose and Matteo still remember me and are so sweet. I love the chicken fajitas but everything on the menu is honestly incredible, and the margaritas are the best in Marin. I live out of state now and whenever people say they?ll be in the Bag Area I tell them to make the journey out to Taco Jane?s. Deserves way more hype!
