Golden Corral Buffet Grill

Fun ,service could've been better ,but there was this birthday party there and every time our waiter came they would call for her all the time ,my wife waited 20 minutes just to get a refill. I understand it wasnt their fault but they should give party rooms their own waiters instead.

Being diabetic means not a lot of options but the salad bar is really good and he sirloin is always tender and cooked perfectly. For those without restrictions, there's so much to choose from.

I often go to Golden Corral, Pat Booker Road in Universal City TX, several times a month. The food is usually very good, fresh and hot. The service is always excellent. This recent visit was not good. The food was old, cold, and a chicken looked uncooked with flour on it. It was certainly raw looking. The soups, when they are fresh, are very good, but often they are old and left in a pot too long. This location had the chocolate fountain that was a plus, and they had the cotton candy machine. The price for lunch is comparable to other restaurants. The dinner/weekend price is also comparable as long as the food is fresh, properly cooked, hot and has a variety of meat/seafood.
