Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThe ambiente has been quite covered. I think the cabana chairs/couches could use something dear, as they somehow got on sweat and flour dew. we bought a VIP package that was also brillance, but unfortunately not able to do that. it was not told us that it ended at 9 o'clock (we asked about 8:30 o'clock after skates) and we are denied. our fire place burned in an hour and it took almost an hour to replace it. we went to another table to keep warm and finished the cabana we paid for.
Our group of 2 families (4 adults 5 kids) had a wonderful experience last night! We rented a cabana, which had a bonfire right outside of it. We ordered cheese pizzas and tater tots for the kids and other bites/drinks for the adults. The customer service was amazing, with multiple servers checking on us. The kids had a blast roasting smores in the fire pit after dinner, getting one-on-one time with Santa who was available without a line, running around on the expansive grass. There was live music which added to the ambiance and it was not noisy at all. The ambiance, with the lighting, christmas trees, bonfires, and ice skating rink was truly magical. The kids were having too much fun running around so we will have to return to ice skate next time. Amazing customer service, kid-friendly and beautiful ambiance!
Excellent stay. atmosphere and our outdoor cabana absolutely wonderful and beautiful. All of the staff were so courteous and provided excellent service. Evelyn and Gary spoiled us. There was one bartender however who ruined about 20 minutes of our stay. Horrible attitude. He was having a toddlers tantrum that the bartenders before him left HIS bar a mess. He did not acknowledge us for over 10 minutes and was extremely annoyed having to serve us. He spoke terribly to fellow servers. Of course we did not visit that main bar again during our stay. I believe his name was Dilber? The only stain on a wonderfully magical time.
I was surprised that there was a $25 parking fee to park at the hotel. Most of the time there is a discount to eat at a hotel restaurant, and that isn’t mentioned anywhere in the reservation. Then I was charged $50 as a FIREPIT charge. There were not any tables without a FIREPIT, and they never mentioned the FIREPIT charge during the reservation process. Luckily my waiter made it right. Also, it was marketed as a Holiday event, and the music they had playing wasn’t even holiday music. It makes no sense to have live music with Christmas trees and twinkle lights and have the artist not sing Holiday music. Overall, it has great potential, but my experience definitely wasn’t what I would want my patrons to experience if I was in charge.
We booked and paid for a 2 hours VIP chalet package which include 1 hr of skating. However, when we arrived we were told the ice skating closed at 8pm, we only got to skate for 30mins vs 1hr as promised when purchase of the package. Also, we paid for 2 hrs used of the cabana. We supposed to have the place until 9.30pm, but everything including music etc… were closing at 9pm. Also, as we were trying to start to toast marshmallows, you ran out of fire starter. The staffs were trying their best to start the fire pit which we appreciate. But it wasted our time for the staffs to start the fire pit when we already have less time to spend in the cabana. Very disappointing with the hours. You should not have offered 7.30pm reservation when everything is closed by 9pm.
