Unfortunately, the dish did not taste like a traditional vindaloo at all. I was disappointed to find only 3 tablespoons of chicken, 1.5 cups of potato cubes, and a similar amount of rice. It was mostly potatoes and rice, not worth the price for such a small portion of chicken. I even had to separate the chicken from the potatoes to see how little there was.
I found the lunch to be overrated, as it mostly consisted of rice for $9.00 with small portions of side dishes. The dish specials are already premade, but the food is still good, especially when they make their special dishes. The special dishes have outstanding flavor. However, ordering takeout can be hit or miss. Sometimes the food is spectacular, while other times I have been disappointed. Despite the inconsistency in the food, I still continue to order from this restaurant, avoiding the premade dishes simmering on the burners. It is important for a restaurant to maintain consistency in their dishes, which I have yet to find here. Lunchtime can get busy, so be prepared to be patient while waiting to order. The staff is friendly and attentive. Overall, I recommend giving this place a try and enjoying the flavors it has to offer.
The food is affordable and portions are generous for the price. The freshly made tandoori chicken and naan were delicious, as well as the chole bature. The staff is consistently friendly and even offers complimentary samples. The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with a casual ambiance.
Have tried here a few times. They are consistent, and food is good for the price paid. Their combo options are good, and they come in good quantity. Many vegetarian options and decent food. It's more like a takeout place. Service is quiet good.
Tikka masala curry was bomb!! Sadly, the chicken was hard and dry. Lamb vindaloo was ehh, it had an incredibly strong acidic and tomato taste that overpowered the entire curry. The owner was nice which is always a plus. The restaurant was small and had more of a fast food, quick bite and dip kind of vibe.
