Love Boat Sushi - San Diego

Great neighborhood restaurant. Great food, really loved my steak teriyaki with beautiful simple presentation. Clean and simple decor. The server was also very attentive! Edit: just the yakisoba tries excessively salty and too easy for the price, will stick with my trusted Bento boxes:

Fresh fish and seafood. The service and the chefs were excellent. Great cozy place.

Almost random, on a walk, my wife and I found a delicious place in our neighborhood. SushiKami, a Japanese restaurant with excellent service, is on the 15th motorway. This time it was a lunch where we were able to taste two of the dishes recommended by the house in their specialties. A satisfactory experience, good taste and quality of fresh products, our waitress was very friendly and helped us at all times and looked after us very well. The restaurant generally has a very good sushi bar with a fairly balanced menu. An interesting beer and wine bar. The service was quite fast, and the quality of food standards and fresh. Accessible parking, but with little traffic due to its proximity to the motorway exit. My recommendation is when you go Friday Saturday and Sunday dinner time is to make a reservation to avoid waiting due to the capacity of the place. Good for family birthdays.

Nice presentation of food. It?s very open inside and they have comfortable seating. I think their outdoor seating was closed due to weather/rain. Kind staff also.

This sushi restaurant was recommended by my brother and it was all he described. Best Mango roll ever. He was right, ended up ordering a second Touch of Mango roll. Pro tip: ask for a side of lemon to squeeze on the roll. Apparently, one of the days my brother got this roll, he got limes instead of lemon and swears its way better. I may have to take a lime to try because I am definitely coming back for more. The restaurant was clean and the hostess was very nice and very quick to pick up plates that I was done with. This is definitely must for sushi lovers!
