Shino Sushi Kappo - San Diego

Came in the late evening for some sushi and it was quite excellent. Service and atmosphere was pretty average.

The nigiri-sushi fish was a little flat and bland tasting. The crispy rice tuna was interesting and good. And the gyoza was good too. A little too pricey for the quality.

The sushi here was impeccable. We had a large group and ordered a wide variety of items. Literally everything was delicious. Might be the closest quality I’ve had outside of Japan.

So far is ok. Service has bad attitude in work. Food is very expensive. Missing orders, out of order. No matter how good is food is make the restaurant go bad.

We just moved to Little Italy area and we’re recommended Shino as the best local sushi spot. We went for dinner this past Saturday and I now understand why it was highly recommended! The sushi was incredible, the staff was quick and on point, and it was the best little spot for a great date night! We will be back and highly recommend for anyone looking for the best sushi joint in little Italy!
