Bucataria De Acasa

This was my fourth meal in this restaurant and again I felt like home, considering that I am originary from Romania. The place is owned by a youg couple and the cuisine is the real deal. They offer a rich menu, based on entrees, first and second courses as well as desserts. Here you can find traditional Romanian famous and well known recipes based on vegetables, pork, chicken and beef ingredients, and cover the entire Romanian geography with a strong Transylvanian accent. An entree I like a lot is the eggplant cream containing some onion, lemon juice, homemade mayonaise which you eat spread on warm homemade bread. You shouldn’t miss the soups which are amazing and tasty. This time I went for a beans, veggies and smoked ribs soup served inside a homemade bread. Another good one is the beef and veggies soup in which you can add sour cream and have some fresh cut chili added. The plum liquor called Palinca is a must as well. Second courses are incredible. Chicken or pork schnitzel, grilled beef, the famous “mici” or “mititei” consisting in grinded meat mixed with special spices and some garlic on the grill. Ifyou still have some space you can enjoy the swret things such as “Papanasi”, the crepes with homemade marmalade, etc. The atmosphere is very friendly and makes you feel like home. Enjoy!

We went one night by chance, to eat something different from the Italian cuisine, and to remember also the dishes of my childhood. we found ourselves very well, quality food and prices more than honest. I highly recommend it. Go on.

I was with my friend at lunch today we found very kind and kind staff. I recommend to all those who love Romanian cuisine. for me the best.

Eating at the Bucataria in now a regularly pleasure. Warm friendly atmosphere, authentic dishes and fine wines repecting honored tradition.

A nice authentic Romanian restaurant, very nice atmosphere. Very reasonable prices. I didn’t know where to start and the lady took her time to explain the menu. Food was great, very tasty and overall great experience
