This restaurant is more casual and modern than most Japanese restaurants but they have great food and it is less crowded than others in the area. Great dumplings, sushi as well as other traditional dishes such as Tempura, Sukiyaki and more.
Be aware that this is not a japanese restaurant but a mix of asian food. There are mainly korean dishes (in fact the owner and waiters are koreans), japanese food and some chinese too. So I suggest to go there if you like korean cousine,...
Sushi lovers, this is sushi heaven! They seriously have about 50 options on the menu. And so many sake bottles you will have a hard time deciding. I have yet to get a bad choice in susi and I have visited this resturant over 10 times now, and tried 10 or more different rolls. The only down side is you have to ask for packaged chop sticks!
Good environment for drinking and eating huge portions of Korean food. Went here for a gf date. Ordered the kiwi soju, Kamakazi Roll, agadashi tofu, and the Ninja Yaki plate. Kiwi soju was very refreshing and light, Kamakazi Roll and tofu was decent and the fish was fresh enough, but the Ninja Yaki Plate was a pleasant surprise. It's udon noodles stir fried with a variety of seafood (squid, crab) in this spicy, SPICY sauce. My mouth was on fire and my stomach was stuffed by the end of the night. Izakaya Ninja is like a Sutter 707, Playground, and Sudachi all rolled into one. Not too shabby...
