Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI usually just write positive reviews, but it's been a week since our experience at Jackson Fillmore trattoria and haven't been able to shake it off. We were disappointed in the lack of etiquette from the thirty year veteran waiter who after patiently waiting to be offered something to drink he asked if we were ready to order!!! When I asked him why he hadn't asked us if we wanted something to drink, he replied by saying that the drink menu was UNDER the meal menu, Oh did I mention that we arrived before 5pm on a Friday evening and the restaurant was empty, we were directed to the counter. I wanted to know why we couldn't have a table since I doubted that there'd be a stampede. I insisted on a table and after some debate and negotiation we sat at a table. We waited for a good 15 minutes before someone offered us water. We will never return,, I'm sad but I don't want indigestion and waisted money if I need to teach a waiter his job. He's extremely secure with his boss.
Went on vacation and tried this place. Absolutely horrible. They don't know what they're talking about. They will lie under oath about the quality of their food.
Wow . Just what was needed after long day sightseeing. Top top tasty
This place has sadly gone downhill in the last few years. We waited over an hour for our meals and they altogether skipped the appetizer we had ordered. The food was mediocre at best and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while. When asked if we wanted dessert there was no way we were sticking around.
If you’re local to the neighborhood and haven’t been highly recommend Jackson Filmore. They treat locals well. They don’t try and be a modern day, trendy spot. True to their roots. And serve quality pasta. Their carbonara is without a doubt my go-to. I’ve had quite a few carbonaras and always think back to Jackson Fillmore’s. Any pasta you get is tasty though. Nico is the man. And everyone that works there has been working there for 20+years.
