Ordering online alone won't save you much time unless you collect your order early. Trust me, you'll avoid long waits this way. This place offers a unique salad customization experience, with generous portions. The build-your-own salad option includes greens and 5 toppings (excluding meat). The topping selection is varied, with seasonal options to keep things interesting. However, the service can be slow, especially during busy lunch hours. Due to limited space behind the counter, the wait can be frustrating as some customers take a long time to decide on their order. This results in a slower-moving line.
I recently purchased a salad from this restaurant because I had not been there in a while and remembered that there was one I really enjoyed. As I was eating, I thought to myself, "This is the best salad I've had in a while"... until I found a long strand of hair in it! It was so disgusting and I was extremely upset because I had paid over $15 for a salad that I could not even finish. This incident is exactly why I always ask for a receipt after every purchase I make.
The salad had high-quality ingredients with generous amounts of avocado and goat cheese that were not mixed together. However, there was excessive waste from the to-go packaging, which was not recyclable or compostable. Instead of dining at this restaurant, it may be more cost-effective to buy a salad prep kit from Trader Joe's, which offers more options at a significantly lower price. The quality is comparable and there is much less waste involved.
My favorite place to get salad in Fidi during work. I always get the Puebla and love the variety of ingredients. Everything is always so fresh and portions are decent.
Healthy choice for lunch. Great variety of salad options. I’d prefer more options for dressings, though (olive oil is healthy and tasty, for example).
