Good noddle soup. same taste for the last 20 years! great
Was suggested to try the M01 house special soup. Was less flavorful than plain chicken broth. The piece of chicken was a joint with little meat. It came with an uncleaned shrimp trapped in a crispy plate like Han Solo. Pretty inedible as it had clearly been sitting in the back and was not made fresh. I will not be back.
Amazing mì vit quay (roasted duck noodle soup) at this shop. Growing up in OC, I've always loved this restaurant so it was a major plus to know there was a location in the Bay Area too. All of the noodle soups here share their same signature broth which is very flavorful and fulfilling, especially on a cold day. Their roasted duck that comes with the noodles is always on point with a crispy skin texture and tender duck meat. I really love the pickled peppers they make as an accompaniment to the noodle soup. The owner and staff are super sweet and welcoming.
M01 is usually the only thing I order there with broth over the noodles. It's $14 a bowl for a small, so inflation has really hit this place. You now get less crispy chicken in your order. I don't mind the less chicken but I do mind that the shrimp cake came out cold and stale. It it supposed to be crispy and something that you look forward to. The broth is still excellent but I would expect them to nail the dish from the cracklings in the broth, crispness of the chicken and shrimp cake. Make it good on all fronts The kids liked the wonton soup and noodles. They weren't a fan of then chicken and noodles since it was a cut up thigh piece.
