Ono Hawaiian Bbq - San Jose

I loved this place. I’ve been in many Onos and always and they never let me down. I ordered chicken curry-Good size, taste, maybe too spicy but overall very good!

All orders after mine was already picked up and I had to wait over 30mins. Asked store manager but they said not available at the restaurant. People didn't even apologize for delay.

Came here for lunch today. There was such a nice friendly young lady who took my order. I believe her name was Emily or something like that. She had such a great attitude, helped me decide what I wanted. I’ve nerve been here and she recommended musubi rolls and fire chicken. And it was just that, FIRE! Because of her kindness and friendliness I recommend this place 100 percent.

This was my first time visiting Ono, and my expectations were moderate given that this is a chain. I was quite pleased with both the service and quality of the food! The new melemele curry chicken here is absolutely delicious. It comes in generous portions, is super flavorful, and has just the right amount of kick to it. The rice was also perfectly cooked and warm even after getting home from picking up the to go order. To add to the good here, the chicken is a special price right now it was only $8 for an entire plate! I'll definitely be back while they're having the special on this chicken. It's an amazing, unique menu item that I've never had at any other Hawaiian BBQ restaurant.
