El Adobe De Capistrano

Ordered a Pina colada, and it tasted like it was just poured over ice and served. Not fresh at all. The chips were not too fresh. Had the presidential plate: chile relleno was good, enchilada was wayyyy too salty for no reason, and the taco was giant, but bland. The food does not taste like it did 6-7 years ago. Bummer.

Usually it's noisy on Sundays with the live music so we have lunch here on a Saturday. However today there was a wedding reception so there were a lot more people, it got pretty loud, not rowdy, it's just a lot of people talking and laughing etc. we had a hard time hearing each other without shouting. Great food as always!

The service was excellent. The food was very good. The restaurant was crowded. 6:00 PM on a Saturday is not a good time for a quiet meal. Not their fault. I taken aback how reasonable the bill was even with drinks. Yes, I will be going back again. But at a different time.

This venue ALWAYS delivers! Food is great, service is excellent and friendly. The ambiance is so-so and all the hard surfaces makes for a noisy atmosphere, but still, its worth it. We'll keep coming back forever!

Excellent food, reasonably priced BUT, beautiful restaurant, BUT you cannot hold a conversation if your life depended on it because they have live singers that are deafeningly loud it's impossible to hear each other.. Dine here then go to a Starbucks after for chitchat
