I decided to try out this restaurant based on the good reviews it had received. I called to place my order over the phone and ended up paying a total of $24 for just 2 items. I was in a rush so I grabbed my order, paid, and left quickly. When I got home and checked my receipt, I realized that the 4 pieces of shrimp tempura cost $13.90. I have had better sushi at other places for a more reasonable price.
By far one of the best places to eat sushi, great customer service, delicious food, fast and good price too.
I placed an order online and received a message stating that it was ready for pick up. When my dad went to pick up the order, he was told by the lady at the restaurant that there was no order placed. I double-checked and confirmed that the order was indeed from the same place and the payment had been deducted from my bank account. I called the restaurant to clarify and they insisted that there was no online order placed that day. Even after providing my name and mentioning that I ordered through Postmates, they still doubted that I had placed an order. It was only when I described the items I had ordered that the lady realized there was an order ready for pick up. I was disappointed by the confusion and the fact that my dad was turned away twice. The rolls were already pricey, and this first experience was frustrating. I will not be ordering from this restaurant again and would rather visit FatFish on East 14th - too bad they were closed today.
I loved every bit of this meal. It’s a small place but food is great and there’s enough sitting space for a few customers. I struggled to finish my meal, the portion is huge. Bravo to the chef, the short ribs were finger licking good. the salad was delicious too. I recommend this place. The waitress is so humble too and super friendly. Great customer service from the waitress if you ask me.
