I called to place my order over the phone and ended up paying a total of $24 for just 2 items. I was in a rush so I grabbed my order, paid, and left quickly. When I got home and checked my receipt, I realized that the 4 pieces of shrimp tempura cost $13.90. I have had better sushi at other places for a more reasonable price.
We have loved this place since we moved here 3 years ago and they’ve always had great customer service. The kind woman who always takes our phone order remembers our usual every time, even before we say our name. However, tonight we called 25 min before they closed to place a pick-up order. A very abrupt man answered (it’s usually an extremely pleasant female voice). He told us they don’t do phone orders anymore and we’d have to order online. We hung up and tried to place the order online but the website wasn’t working. We immediately tried calling back to let them know. They didn’t answer despite us calling multiple times, well before closing time. Needless to say, we didn’t have Gogo Sushi tonight. We’re extremely disappointed and hope this isn’t their new norm. Otherwise, we’re finding a new favorite sushi spot.
The place offers a great variety of fresh food. I liked eating here. The employees are always very friendly, pricing is affordable and the spot is always well organised.
By far one of the best places to eat sushi, great customer service, delicious food, fast and good price too.
