We tried Lotus today for lunch. The decor is nicely decorated with cultural items, however it is a bit tired dated. The bench seating along one wall is...
Food:4/5 Ambiance:5/5 I went to this place after 2 of our friends recommended it. My order is as shown in pictures: Pad Thai Golden bags Crispy rice lettuce wrap Thai iced tea All the starters were good. I can highly recommend the golden bags. Perfect combination of crispy from the outside and mushy from the inside. It is filled with sweet potato smashed if I’m not wrong. I kinda liked the lettuce
Delicious curries and fast service at good prices! My party of 2 was seated right away when we walked in on a Saturday night, and after ordering, our food was served in less than 10 minutes. Don 't worry, there 's lots of time to peruse the menu, and just as much to talk after the meal. The interior has a buzz of conversation and is nicely appointed with good lighting, and there 's patio seating with heaters too. The dishes are just the right size to satisfy for a normal meal, and they have the perfect amount of meat and veggies. The spice scale is rather gentle: spicy was what I expected for medium (think spicy chicken nuggets at a fast food joint). The extra spicy option has a disclaimer but I would have gone for it to even begin approaching runny-nose territory. Expect $21/person after tip (add more for fancier meat options, drinks, or appetizers).
