Royal Thai - San Rafael

As someone who traveled to Thailand for over a decade every year, I can say with confidence that is the best Thai restaurant in San Rafael.

Love this cute little place, they are ALWAYS busy with take out orders and sometimes get backed up. We recently dined in for the first time and had a wonderful!! The food was even more delicious when it's straight from the kitchen even though we only live a short distance when we pick up togo. This is our favorite Thai restaurant and I look forward to eating in the restaurant more in the future.

Excellent food! Different from other Thai restaurants that I have eaten at. The coconut curry base is thicker, less sweet. Good ambience! Recommend the veggie red curry! Choose between mild and medium for the best experience !

Very authentic Thai food and decor. Lovely staff. Lots to choose from on their menu. Entrance is a bit obscured. It?s to the right of the large ?Royal Thai? sign facing 3rd St. Same entrance is also accessible by going through the courtyard through the iron arch ?French Quarters? sign on Irwin St.
