So good! We always make a stop here on the way back from hikes on Mt Hood. Definitely worth it.
Finally I've found a true authentic Mexican food cart/restaurant! I ordered a cochinita taco, one cheese empanada, one beef empanada and an horchata. The tortillas and habanero salsa are simply the best! It was like my Abuelita was cooking for me .They told me they have a spot in Portland, thank goodness I won't need to drive to Sandy every time to get my fix. I wish I took pictures of the food, but it's in a better place now.
Delicious authentic food run, and family run business. First time stooping in today so we tried a few things.. Sope w/ grilled veggies, Salbutes (vegan) both pictured were delicious and filling. We also had the bean empanada which had a nice little crunch to the outside, really yummy little snack. Then a couple cheese tamales, which had a nice flavor profile, some new flavors for me with the banana leaf wrapping, I'd definitely get them again. And we got a large horchata Very satisfying and the young man helping us out was pleasant and informative. Check them out, they're been on the lot for 6months so show some love. We're nice and full and my mouth is on fire from the havanero salsa!
