Shima Grab N Go Sushi - SANIBEL

I highly recommend this restaurant! We visited on our first night and enjoyed it so much that we returned last night. The food is delicious, even better than any hibachi places near our home, which is across from Boston. The chef was incredibly friendly and a fantastic entertainer. He even allowed us to participate in an egg trick. He cooks better than anyone we have at home!

The only option available was takeout—you need to call to place an order. As of August 2022, there were no dine-in services or reservations available, but the takeaway experience was wonderful once we figured out the phone number to call!

The chef seemed inexperienced, as most of the dishes we ordered had very little fried rice. I've visited many other hibachi Japanese restaurants that offer a much better experience than this one. I would suggest trying another restaurant either in the hotel or on the island.

We received a wonderful service for our party from 18th juni on shima. eating in shima every juni in the frame of the annual meeting of our family on sanibel is always a highlight, but this year was particularly remarkable. from the facility of our reservation and table occupancy with wyndham and sky to dinner even our experience was excellent, including a last minute request to nicole to contain a flee of prosecco at every place, in anticipation of our sohnes and his friend announcing their engagement. the eating in shima is always fabulous and this year was not an exception. nicole, along with sam, mo and reza, made our evening really special. I appreciate the professionality and customer focus of each of these 6 employees, although we were not in the sundial resort.

Very intimate experience — 4 main hibachi tables made it feel like was a private chef in your own home. Amazing chef LYCEL who went above and beyond with entertainment for our 2 year old but also excellent food, fresh and authentic. I had the Scallops, other family had steak, tuna — all top notch. My food was made in the best possible way. Amazing scenery at Sundial setting as well. Highly recommend for a family or friends activity, will not be disappointed!!
