Atrisco Cafe - Santa Fe

A christian fedelstein. I almost didn't want to give this place a good rating because I didn't get it so popular that it would be difficult to get a table ha ha ha ha. this place is thrilled by natives and has a really great menu. red and green chile is great (with the edge goes into red.) it is child-friendly and has a great service. vegetarian options are also solid. they also offer some great options if they are using someone who does not eat in new mexican (like fantastic meat-leaved.) I wish there were more places like this in santa fe. if I had to be critical, I would say their salsa game could be staged, but with great chile, who cares?

This is a great local restaurant, we had the Artis special (Relleno, enchilada, taco) and lamb burrito smothered with green chili.

Nice little place for lunch. Great food and excellent service. I had menudo and wedge salad.

Located in a strip shopping center, it might not sound particularly inviting. But man oh man is the food here incredible. If you are looking for seriously good authentic New Mexican food, this is your place. It's one of the places the locals eat and you know what that means. On numerous visits, I've had the green chile cheeseburger, the NM style stacked enchiladas and the stuffed sopapilla (pictured below). Go to Atrisco!

Great experience on Sunday here. First time re-visiting in over three years and yet another consistent eat spot. In fact, the one thing I forgot was how crowded it always is. Initially, I thought i would need to return later and then I had an A-HA moment of ordering to go and eating in quieter mall space. The hostess and hosts were wonderful and timely. Accurate order and guesstimate of ready time spot-on. I ordered half nachos for a great price and everything was delicious and included. I was able to make two meals of the nachos that day. Thanks so much and will return next time ideally with friends and enjoy the lively crowd at a table or spot at bar.
