Forget about chain breakfast restaurants. this is the place to eat breakfast, brunch or lunch in santa maria. today had their haystack pancakes for lunch. delicious! Maybe the best potato pancakes I ever had and the service was super-so friendly.

Christina is a fantastic waitress, she's quick on refills, fun in conversation, and ask questions of orders like an industry professional. She made my breakfast experience amazing before I even tasted the food which itself is amazing and the portions huge (thanks chef! . The classic family diner contrary to others I've eaten at is kept lean and clean by the rocking hustle of the staff. I swear ever table was cleared in mere seconds after emptied the host was in the zone today!

Surprisingly fantastic my wife's grandmother recommended we stop here for breakfast when we came to visit the staff was cheerful and a delight and I had probably the best chicken fried steak I've ever had! 10/10 recommended

We love coming here Saturday morning for breakfast and The Pantry never disappoints. The baked goods are baked on site by their own baker and the blueberry muffins are incredible! So fresh and warm with a sweet crunchy topping. The bacon is crispy and the portions are huge. If you can, try to sit in Chris’ section! She is soooo professional, kind, attentive, and you can tell she really cares about doing the best job! She outshines any server we’ve had, even at four star restaurants.

The pantry, is in the top five for best breakfast in santa maria. we came today appointed joes santa maria omelette. they were both very good, in any case crowd friends. they are their pancakes, they are light, fluffy and taste wonderful. chris was our waitress and she deserves praise. she has often checked for us and kept the refills a coming, excellent service.
