Wanted to give my boyfriend a surprise for his birthday.... at the time I was at Mexico City and the amazing hostess took my call, listened to the story and gave him a drink on my behalf while she put me in contact with him... randomly amazing cooperation and the best side kick to fill in a surprise!! Good local dive bar. Mixed crowd of Santa Monican 20/30 something's who live nearby and crusty old regulars. Friendly staff, good beer, walking distance to home, will be back next time I want a couple of toasty pints!

Cool bar. conveniently located when I really wanted a cold one. I was in a silly mood while there and marked my face up with a marker. I was just being silly. but underneath really in a lot of pain and inner turmoil. the cool attitude I somewhat received when I first walked in was then further intensified after the self applied face painting and was then denied a second beer request. the bartender did accept $5 for a tip regardless and then asked me to leave. very welcoming to new faces like mine. never again.

Don’t waste your time here. Absolute horrible service, horrible attitudes from servers, not a good ambiance. Waited 5 minutes for the bartender to even ask me for a drink. Then poured a totally flat beer, I’m sure the keg had been sitting for weeks.... Why go here with all the other options in Santa Monica? I’ll never be back.

First of all, how can this place call itself a sports bar when they don 't even get the Dodger 's games? Second of all I was there for happy hour and I still paid $19 for 2 drinks? I had a well vodka soda and a beer! What a rip-off! For those prices you 'd think the place would be a lot nicer.
