Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThis a beautiful hotel with expansive grounds. Though the rooms are getting slightly dated they are still comfortable, quiet and well laid out. The pool area is welcoming with an inviting architecture and adjacent restaurant and grassy area. I personally enjoy grabbing a chair and getting a little bit of peace in the grassy area as there don't seem to be many people there. Directly to the west are some challenging hiking trails with nice elevations. It's worth putting on a solid pair of hiking shoes and scaling the trails just to enjoy the view. Staff here are always gracious and helpful. Though I speak Spanish I noticed most of the people working here have a solid English speaking base and if you're not a Spanish speaker it's easy to communicate. Having stayed here several times each of my experiences has been very positive. I'm looking forward to coming back!
I have been coming to this hotel since 1993. It is nearly a home away from home! I love that it is an oasis in a large city, hidden away in the hills, but within walking distance from some great sights and restaurants! The rooms are clean and quiet. The bar is a great place to hang out, and I LOVE having breakfast by the pool every morning. The staff are ALWAYS welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The rooms are starting to become dated again, but still well-appointed and clean. I always look forward to coming here on every visit to Santiago!
Large, spacious, beautiful inside. Not very walkable, near highway. Hot water didn't work in shower. Called guest services, transfer to front desk, on hold for two minutes, no one picked up, called 3x. Finally sent technician, confirmed broken. Tried calling front desk asking to switch rooms. Someone came up to give us new room key, but the room was already occupied! After a few calls she led us into new room, but waited nearly 20 min before they dropped off key. Just want to shower and sleep. Shower water temp in new room kept varying even without touching. Hot and cold. Hurry out. Very narrow, long, not good for couples haha. For skinny people only. Breakfast@6:30. Hot food, eggs, roast tomatoes, hashbrown, baked beans, bacon and sausage. Pastry with muffin, assorted donuts, croissant, toast, baguettes with spreads and toaster oven. No labels at 6:30, only put out at 7am. Surprise, hope you don't have allergies. Coffee machine with cappuccino and other drinks. Whole fruit ripe, cut fruit so sweet, salad, cereal with milk, cheese, yogurt (parfait with caramel flan like sauce at bottom), cold cuts. Offer coffee at 6:55. No water. Tiny elevators. 6 people, 2 suitcases and 2 carry on, full. Max 10 people.
The best hotel in Santiago! The service in all departments are absolutely amazing. I travel here often for business and most hotels are great, but never do I take the time to write a review. But, this place is amazing because of their staff and service. I love the location, and ambiance, but it is truly the staff that make this place special. I have stayed here so many times, and each time I am amazed that the service can sustain such high standards. Flavia, at the front desk is so kind and welcoming. All of the staff are warm and welcoming. It is like a home away from home, but in a beautiful and incredible setting overlooking the Andes mountains, and a great location to access any activity. The bar staff are so kind and attentive. I saw a review when I wrote this was surprised to see any negative comment...this hotel is special and wonderful...hands down:
Stayed in this place during the weekend of lollapalooza and I went to the bar to get some drinks. The servers completely ignored us as they were too busy serving all of the performers and crew members. I went to the bar to ask for a drink when I was told to have a seat at a table and wait for a server that never came. I also saw a bunch of lollapalooza crew members standing at the bar and getting multiple drinks while we were waiting. Ridiculous service. Stay away from this place.
