Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI went to this restaurant today to celebrate a jubilee. we both ordered a steak, everyone well done, a medium rare. not only did we wait an hour on a Tuesday night with many tables empty, but. we also got two steaks well made and slightly cold. the commands were also switched between us, and we had to move on to the right plate ourselves, because the waitress did not. they also did not take notes about the bruschetta we have just given up at this point. when we were halfway through the steak, she came back and offered another steak if we wanted, but it was just too late and we probably had to wait another hour. no good first impression at all at a highly recommended place. will probably not go back.
They are the little things that make something big or not so great. the steaks and other entrees were excellent, but the side veggies salty. nickle and diming the sides will not make them famous. Why would they charge for a kartoffel with a little garlic? they also calculate for butter and acidic saws? the bar area was used for dining room overflow. However, no table cloth was placed on the table or fabric serviettes to make the opposite more beautiful. the prices were not reduced, but the atmosphere was. cheap midday napkins were used. if they use paper instead of cloth (yes fault that on covid,) then they can use at least good quality paper dinner serviettes. two dirty tables were left unclean for the two hours we were there. the waitress was asked to clean our table before the entrees were served and she came with a spray bottle to spray the table while the customers sat there with their drinks. they were asked to spray the cloth away from the table, then come to dry the table down. then she was put clean cutlery (after she was asked) on a bare table without serviettes. please train their employees to operate properly. the service was very poor. there was no inadequate review of how the customers did or whether they needed anything. a wine with 60 bottles was served without opening it at the table. all these little things really made the experience cut and very disappointing for a place that calculates for its dinner menu items. there are other facilities in the city where a better food can be had for the same price.
Ordered a margarita and got a nasty little glass for 10 dollars it was a small martini glass. the burger, who the people say, is super salty with a large plate of speck on them and no sweet (where is the tomato. and salat? . the sweet potato friries are also oversalted. beautiful setting and the server was amazing.
The food was great. Really like this place. Will go back here when back in this area again. Owners were friendly and staff were great.
I recently traveled to the sault again. After a disappointing check in at the hotel, I went to Embers where they never disappoint. The steak was perfect, as always, the waitress was friendly, just all round great time. It was soo good I extended my...trip a day just so I could go back. I had the meatloaf the second night. It was huge, lots of potatoes, cooked veggies. Always the best food, You get treated like family every time you go there. I cant wait for my next trip. I'll see you guys soon!!
