Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónVintage bar with great decor, a large bar, and amazing food and drinks. We dined for brunch and enjoyed the salmon BLT, shrimp and grits (the best! , and bacon fries. Worth visiting for the ambience and one of the best restaurants in town!
Great vibe! Loved the decor. We came a little late, but hostess and waitress were so friendly and accommodating. Food was fantastic, service exceptional! When I'm back in town, will return.
The menu was super basic in my opinion, it 's a higher priced version of Applebees. The food price does not represent the quality of the food. Everything piled on top of a nice cut of meat is very off putting, the potatoes were cooked earlier in the day, possibly the day before and reheated. Nothing was terrible, it just wasn 't a $60-80 per person meal, but that 's on par with finer dining in Savannah.
This place was AMAZING! I don't even know where to start. The ambiance is great. It is a pretty large spot. The bar has plenty of seating; they also offer high tops, booths that can fit at least 5-6, and small tables in the middle of the restaurant. The only downfall of the small tables is that we had to course stuff out because it wouldn't all fit on the tiny round table, but that didn't bother us. We had 2 servers (unsure if 1 of them was training or that's just how they roll), either way, both of them were really nice. We actually didn't order alcohol here because we were exhausted. But if I were to order anything I would have gotten this hot toddy situation they had on the chalkboard behind the bar. They offered 2 hot drink options, which I love. Ok, so food. I'll go course by course. Everything was amazing. We started with wings and burrata. The sauce on the wings was the perfect amount and also had the perfect amount of kick. It was realllly mild, which we liked. If you are someone who is into spiccccyy spice, these wings ain't for you. The burrata is gluten-free if you ask for the bread on the side. We forgot to ask and it came on top, but it was okay, my boyfriend was still able to eat it. I don't know what type of red pepper, or eggplant goodness they put underneath this ball of cheese but I was in heaven. The second course was octopus and oysters. They were out of the Beau Soleil so we opted for some from Massachusetts (I don't remember the name), but those aren't on the menu so when you go your options will most likely be the Virginia Wild or Beau. The oysters were fresh and delicious. The octopus itself was large in size and had really great flavor. The combo of the octopus and the eggplant puree was wild. The third course was the Crudo (aka tuna tartare). It came out with a glass cover and when our server opened it smoke came out, which was really cool. I'm keeping my 5 stars because this place was really amazing, but I didn't love this tartare. The smokey taste took away from the tuna and that specific taste just isn't my favorite. Probably a reason why I don't love mezcal. Anyway, if you got a combo bite (macadamia nut, mango, tuna) it was good, but I really needed the other flavors to overpower the smokey taste. And that was the meal. We ended up being full af and weren't able to order more. We come to Savannah a lot and I always try to make reservations at different restaurants, but we are coming back to this place! No questions asked.
Great evening! Food was amazing and the service was excellent!
